Building The Future Of District 1

For nearly my entire life, Pasadena Unified has been part of my story.

I grew up in these schools. I raised my children in these schools. I volunteered in classrooms, organized parent groups, worked alongside teachers, served on district committees, and today I have the privilege of serving students and families every day as a Pasadena Unified employee.

This community has given so much to me.

Now, I want to continue giving back.

The Eaton Fire reminded us that schools are more than buildings. They're gathering places. They're safe spaces. They're where friendships are formed, where families find support, and where communities come together during life's hardest moments.

As we continue rebuilding District 1, I believe our schools can help lead that healing.

That's why I'm running.

Build Strong Community Schools

Schools should be more than places where students learn—they should be places where families feel welcomed, neighbors become partners, and every child knows they belong. I'll strengthen partnerships between schools, families, local organizations, and our community so every campus becomes a place where relationships flourish alongside academic success.

Put Families at the Heart of Every Decision

Parents deserve more than a seat in the audience—they deserve a seat at the table. I'll continue creating opportunities for families to be heard, valued, and actively involved because the strongest schools are built with parents, not just for them.

Help Every Student Thrive

Every child deserves outstanding academics, enriching arts, athletics, career pathways, and opportunities to discover their passions. I will advocate for programs that help every student grow with confidence, purpose, and the support they need to succeed.

Support the People Who Support Our Children

Our teachers, classified staff, administrators, and school employees are the heart of Pasadena Unified. I will champion collaborative leadership, meaningful support, and the resources they need to continue changing young lives every day.

Lead by Bringing People Together

Throughout my life, I've believed that listening is one of the most important forms of leadership. I will bring people together—even when opinions differ—to find thoughtful solutions rooted in respect, collaboration, and our shared commitment to children.

Pasadena Unified has shaped every chapter of my life.

I know this district because I've lived it—as a student, a parent, a volunteer, an educational advocate, and a school employee.

I believe in our students. I believe in our educators. I believe in our families.

And most of all, I believe in what happens when a community comes together.

Together, we can strengthen our schools, continue rebuilding District 1, and ensure every child has the opportunity to learn, belong, and thrive.
